Prolific Ghanaian artiste and songwriter, Black Sherif has served a new music masterpiece dubbed ‘ Soja’ off his forthcoming album ‘The Villian I never was’.
The BET Best International Act nominee, dropped a short video while rapping to a portion of his newly released banger.
Soja’ -The spiritual song reveals a mentally fortified side of him while expressing his vulnerability and having to lay off insecurities in an infectious rhythmic pattern.
In the lyrics, Blacko revealed that “My mystery box is somewhere very near
I feel it inside me, I’m feeling very weird. Something wey I dey chase
For years back in the days. If you told me I would see this flag waving I won’t believe you, Cause how far could I go? (How far could I go?)”
Singing about his anxieties for the future, he wrote, “I’m too close I can feel it Something is vibrating Inside me. I’m celebrating. But outside them dey kill me”
This comes off the benchmark of his smash hit single, ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ which was released in March this year.
The song which topped charts across the various digital streaming platforms with its enormous global crossover prowess was co-signed by a lot of industry greats such as DJ Khaled, Timberland among others.
The musician recently received the enviable Golden Club plaque from Boomplay.
Since the release of the song which is Blacko’s 2nd for the year, the musician has been in the top spot of Ghana trends
